It me! In a groovy dinosaur shirt!
MY WORK: I strongly believe in theatre that challenges preconceptions and encourages empathy through fearless and incisive storytelling.
As a director, my work is grounded in the text and builds upon the foundation provided by the playwright. I believe in a collaborative rehearsal process and allowing actors agency in their own work.
As a playwright, I am interested in shedding new light on old stories and examining the variety of ways characters’ good intentions lead to cruelty, mishaps, and hi-jinks.
As an instructor, my focus is on building kinder, better human beings through explorations of collaboration, focus, and self-awareness.
For me there is no character incapable of redemption and there is no bit too old.
